P-Day in Bovina and a "Can Do" Attitude

Hey fam,

So I made it through my first full week here in Foggia. We're still
alive so that's what's important I guess.

This week, like most weeks, was pretty normal. Nothing super crazy or
unexpected happened. We had an activity in church on Saturday. We were
going to make pancakes and watch “Meet the Mormons”. So I made pancakes.
The movie didn't work out because of technical difficulties BUT
everyone loved the pancakes so that's what's important I think haha.

Honestly, right now as I'm writing this I'm trying to think of anything
cool that happened and I really can't. For most of the week we were in
a trio because one of the other missionaries here in Foggia had to go
pick up his permission of stay in a different city. I don't like being
in a trio. Missionary work is better in two, that's for sure.

Well in other news this week I've been thinking a lot about how our
attitudes can change our lives. I often say "not with that attitude"
to people who tell me that they can't do something. Usually I say it
in a very sarcastic or funny way but in the end it holds a lot of
truth. If we believe we can't do something, we've already decided
that we will never accomplish that goal, that we will never reach our
full potential, that we will never make it to places we never thought
possible. The phrase "believe in yourself" is said often and is very
undervalued as a phrase. I truly believe that if we believed in
ourselves more we would do extraordinary things. So Imma try and do
that. You should try it too :)

Today for pday we went and saw a castle. It was cool.
