Hello,
Well transfers calls came this week and
me and my comp have been
"blown-out" of Sciacca.
Meaning both of us are being transferred at
the same time and two new missionaries
are coming in. I'm taking my
talents to the great city of Foggia.
It's like in the "Achilles Heel"
area of Italy. Idk how else to describe
where it is. Then my comp is
going to Reggio Calabria which is the
end of the toe of Italy. So
that's pretty interesting. We weren't
expecting that both of us would
be transferred but "my ways are not
your ways."
Nothing super exciting happened in
Sciacca this week I would say. It
was one of those "put your shoulder
to the wheel" kinda weeks here in
Sciacca and at the end of the week we
definitely saw the blessings.
The missionaries from Palermo came to do
an exchange with us to see
how we were doing. All in all we had a
good time and I definitely
learned some new things from the
experience.
As my time in Sciacca here comes to a
surprising close I've been able
to look back and see a big change in
myself (in a good way) during my
time here. The Lord knew that I
definitely had some things to learn
and that a lot of it needed to come
through hard work. I guess I was
able to learn what I needed to, to
prepare me for my next city. I'm
sad to leave Sciacca but like always I'm
excited for the new
adventures that lie ahead. In case
you're wondering this city, Foggia,
may be my final city here in the great
Italy Rome mission. I won't say
anything for sure though because then I
will jinx it. Haha
Today for PDAY we’re going to go revisit
one of my favorite places in
Italy. We are taking a quick bus ride
out to the beautiful city of
Trapani and then taking the boat out to
the even more beautiful
Favignana. It's a small island right off
the north western tip of
Sicily. It should be a good time. Love
you all :)
