Dear Family and friends,
This week was actually a really good
week and a lot of exciting things
happened. We had the missionaries from
Palermo come down to Sciacca
this week to see how everything is
going. Long story short my MTC
companion Anziano Moraes (the Brazilian)
is in Palermo so him and his
companion came down to visit us and do
some good ole missionary work.
So it was so cool seeing him cuz if you
get along with a companion
that you have on the mission you become
really close and so it's
always good to see old friends. Anyway,
he actually served here in
Sciacca like a year ago way back when I
was in Bagheria so he came to
see all his old friends. He introduced
us to a lot of people and all
in all it was a really good day. We even
had an activity in church.
One of the members taught/showed us how
to dance. We aren't very good
but we had fun anyways.
Things are going good here in Sciacca
though. I love my companion, we
get along great and we got a lot of good
things happening here. We
have members who are feeding us food so
in the end I can't complain.
Plus, this place is beautiful so even if
you have a bad day you just
look outside and you feel better ha-ha.
Today for our free day we did a little
exploring of Sciacca. We went
down to the harbor and on this beach and
stuff it was pretty cool. The
pictures we took were awesome so I'll
make sure I send plenty of
those.
Lastly, I hit my 6 months to home mark
this week. Actually yesterday.
Us missionaries call it "6 months
to sexy" cuz we gotta be looking
good when we get home hahaha but time
definitely flies. I've
learned to enjoy every day out here.
