This week we went to Rome well we went
down on Tuesday afternoon. We
got to Rome me had interviews with President
and then went to sleep. I
also got a package from Derrick so that
was really nice! He sent me a
camo t-shirt and shorts. I think he got
them at Wal-Mart but it's all
good. I loved it. So then the next day
we had Zone Conference! It was a
pretty good time. I feel like it could
have been much better but idk.
Maybe I just wasn't ready to learn what
others did. Idk. Anyways, it
was still a really good conference. Then
we had to come back to
Pescara. Now the trip to Rome is about 2
and a half hours but it's a
very beautiful drive. The whole time
your driving though the mountains
and on the way home the sun was setting
at our backs. Mamma Mia! It
was so beautiful. It's still a long ride
though.
Also this week we got some good work
going here in Pescara. We met
some new investigators and are helping a
couple investigators here
prepare for baptism. It's truly a
blessing to be here in Pescara right
now. It's vibrant, the members have a
strong desire to help, fall
weather is beautiful. I'm just really
excited and blessed to be here.
Also this past week I hit my 10-month
mark on the mission. Idk how
that happened so fast but it did. Time
literally cannot go by any
faster while I'm out here. Every day
slips away quicker than it came.
But I'm loving every minute of it. Even
if the minutes go by as fast
as seconds.
I know I wrote the email differently
than I have been recently but I
really did try to put the important
stuff in there. I don't talk about
the work in too much detail out of
respect to our investigators but
also to the honest fact that it
literally changes every day so a once
a week email just isn't enough to keep
you up to date ha-ha. But I want
to let you all know I love you, care
about you and miss you so much.
You're always in my thoughts and in my
prayers. Also this week I got
to bear my testimony in church. I bore
my testimony about the
restoration and the reality of living
day prophets. I know it's true.
Joseph saw God the Father and Jesus
Christ in a vision and was called
to be a prophet. Thomas S. Monson leads
and guides our church today. I
love you all and hope you have a good
week :)
