Abundant Blessings and Swag New Hair Cuts

So that extra hour of sleep Saturday night really helped me catch up
on some sleep. I honestly don't think I've ever woken up so good like
in my life after that one. It was nice. But that's not the only cool
thing that happened this week.

So we have been working a lot with our friends Felix and Peter during
this week and helping them both get ready for their baptism. Felix
actually had his interview on Friday and everything went smooth there
so we are good to go for Satuday! #halloweenbaptism And then Peter is
like the most prepared person for the gospel ever. He LOVES church and
loves talking to us about the gospel. He has already brought 2 friends
to church this week (who we will try and teach) and he is getting
ready for baptism. We are going to have his interview on Saturday and
if everything goes good he will be ready to go on the 7th of November.
But here is the thing. I'm not saying this to brag about me and my
comp and how awesome of missionaries we are because seriously that's
not it. He and I are beyond blessed to be here in Pescara at this
time. There are people here who are ready to hear about the gospel and
then they share it with their friends. We honestly just do the
teaching and they do all the rest. I love being a missionary ha-ha

In other news this week, also, we've been trying hard to go see all the
members of the ward so that we can bring them a little message and get
to know them a little bit more. The members here are so amazing! ha-ha
Their faith and stuff is so strong and they have a deep desire to
share the gospel with their friends and family. We just gotta help
them out a little bit. ha-ha

Also this week me and my companion got the swaggest haircuts in the
game. We went to this real hipster barber shop near our house. It
honestly took almost 2 hours for us to get our cuts but man was it
worth it. We look SO good. I can't complain :)

Also this week we went over to this member’s house to eat "Arrosticini"
which is a Pescara special. In Italy each area has its specialty and
here in the "Abruzzo" region it's Arrosticini. So what it is basically
is sheep on a stick. It's very fatty and then you grill it and put a
lot of salt on it. Wow is it good though. It was salty but still like
juicy and was so freaking good. I would recommend it to anyone. So if
you get the chance; I would try some. They are good :)

Well I guess that's pretty much it for this week! Besides the huge
festival down town and the street performers and market that come with
it ha-ha Pescara is pretty chill. Oh yeah, this week there is a festival
for IDK what but there was a ton of people downtown and also some cool
street performers but I'll just send you videos. Anyways. Have an
amazing week! Love ya! And HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃🎃

Paul's Baptism

We had a good week here in Pescara. It's crazy how many blessings the Lord has been throwing our way this week. I honestly don't know what we are doing so good but we will just keep doing what we gotta do.

Most of this week was spent with our now new convert Paul getting ready for his baptism Saturday :) He is an African from Nigeria and has been in Italy for probably about 6 months. When he got here he skipped around between churches until one day his friend, who is also a new convert of like 2 months, brought him to church. The old Elders here started meeting with him but obviously they left and now we are here. We just had to take him the last couple steps in order to get him ready for baptism. The baptism went great! The baptismal font here is kinda funny but it's good. After his baptism he bore a powerful testimony about how he knows that this is the church of Jesus Christ and how important it is to missionary work. He loves sharing the gospel. We are now teaching one of his friends named Peter. We met him about 2 weeks ago and he told us that we HAVE to meet with him at least 3 times a week to become closer to the Jesus Christ. Swag. He also came to church this week and afterword said "I like this church. I know it is true. I will start coming every week. When can I see you again?" ....... We are going to go see him tonight :) Also two other new converts brought a friend to church this week and we are going to go see them also. Miracles just keep happening and it's such a blessing to be here right now.

In other news, I'm doing really good. Still tired like always but I try and keep a smile on my face. Me and my companion get along great, I cook and he cleans so it's a match made in heaven. Literally. The weather here is lame; it rains like every other day because it's starting to become that season again. I bought an umbrella though so hopefully I won't get too soaked. Also this morning we got up early and ran to the beach. Ik we ran. I ran. That's another miracle but it's good. We watched the sunset and took pictures. It's nice living a 5 min jog from the Tyrrhenian Sea. :)

Anyways love you all so much! Have a good week! I'm kinda pissed about the Michigan game but happy about the Packers:) Ciao Ciao
