Dear Fam,
We had a pretty good week this week. I
ate a typical Venezuelan food
called "arepas" made by a
missionary of Venezuelan heritage. It's
basically a fried ball of corn flour and
them I put shredded chicken,
avocado, and beans in it. Simple, but delicious.
Probably going to eat
that again soon. There was also one
night this week where I had two
gelatos..... We don't talk about it
haha. I love gelato. Also, at
English course this week we decorated
cookies. It was fun. I ate like
5. Wow.... I'm fat. I really need to
start running some more haha.
Anyways.....
This week I also got to see one of my
old comps from the MTC. Anziano
Moraes. He came down with his companion
from Rome because his
companion had to pick up his permission
of stay so it was cool to see
him. We had a nice talk. Good times.
The work here is going good. We had some
more miracles. A member
brought his friend to English course one
night and afterwards he asked
questions about the church and said he
wanted to learn more. So we
were able to teach him and now we are
hoping to see him some more this
upcoming week. Hope everything can go
well.
Today for PDAY we went to Bari so my
companion could buy a suit. I
found a store that sold American things.
I bought a cold Dr. pepper
and Mtn Dew. So you could say it was a
good day.
Other than that things are going good
here. It seems like it's
starting to cool down and stuff so
that's good. Other than that
everything is normal here. No big news.
Love you all and hope you have
a good week!!
Anziano zyskes
