Dear Fam,
So it rained every day this week except
Saturday. That was cool ha-ha!
Luckily the weather cooled down a good
amount from last week so we
didn't die. In spite of the rain and the
lack of being able to see
this week we kept our spirits high.
(That sounded weird) But it's
true. We are feeling good and loving our
time in Foggia.
In other news, on Friday the Sisters and
the other Anziani were
standing at the bottom of our apartment
building talking and we heard
them so we threw Razzels at them to get
their attention. I thought it
was funny. Later one of the sisters got
water dumped on her head. I
didn't do that though.
Last night there was a Foggia soccer
game here and some people went
crazy. A group of people got together
and swarmed the street, stopping
all traffic, and started singing chants
as they walked from downtown
to the stadium. Then some dude lit off a
flare and smoke filled the
streets. The only thing you could hear
were drums, chants, and car
horns. It was a good time. I'll attach a
video.
This week I also bought three new ties.
They are all floral ties. I
have found my weakness while shopping.
It's floral ties.
Other than that, not many new things
happened this week. It rained. We
talked to a lot of people on the street
and spent a lot of time doing
it. Also this upcoming week we have a
conference in Rome. So I get to
go back to Rome for like a day. That
will be fun.
