Our Amazing Pancake Breakfast

Honestly I don't really know what to write in this email. So I think
I'll just write down whatever comes into my head and we will see where
this goes....

Well, this week we (the missionaries) put on a pancake activity.
Basically we invited all of our friends and members of the church to
our activity. So we made them a LOT of pancakes. Like a couple hundred
pancakes. It was cool. We taught them all how to make our delicious
American treat and then just kinda chilled with everyone for a little
bit. After we all ate we watched this cool movie called "Meet the
Mormons." For those of you who don't know it's a cool documentary
about people who are members of our church and follows their lives.
It's pretty cute. I like it. I recommend it.

Today we made a pizza and put hot dogs and French fries on it because
that's what people in Italy like. They think it's American. It's not.
But it tastes good. Try it sometime. Don't put ketchup on it tho.
That's weird.

Also this week me and my comp went to the gym with our friend Martina.
That was fun. If you know me, you know the gym isn't a place I ever
really go to but I kinda got forced into it so I went. It was fun. I
think I might go back. We will see.

Also, English course is still going good. All the students love us now
because we made them pancakes :) I don't blame them though because I
love anyone who makes me delicious food. #everycookatBWWever anyways.
Life is good. I'm happy. This week, for legal reasons, me and my comp
are going to this cool city called Bari. It's on the "heel" of Italy
you could say. They are known for their good food and so I'm always
down for that. Should be a good week. Love you all ciao ciao.

Largest English Class EVER!

So yesterday I hit my 16 month mark as a missionary. That's pretty
crazy. Time flies when you're having fun I guess. But I've loved every
minute of my time here on a mission especially in Italy so I won't
complain.

This week we've had a lot of cool things happen and a couple miracles
were thrown our way. I won't go into detail about all of them but I'll
tell ya about one. So as you probably know we teach a free English
course. We have been doing a lot of advertising for said course. We've
been putting up posters all over the city and we've been walking
around with the guitar. Anyways, this Thursday at course we had so many
people that there weren't enough chairs in the chapel for everyone. So
we of course split the class to try and accommodate everyone. I've
never had a bigger class for English course in my mission so that was
way cool. Especially for a small city like Catanzaro.

This week we went back to school again. Ha-ha. This time the class was a
little bigger and a lil more rowdy but me and Eldridge held it
together. The professor who invited us knows quite a lot about our
religion which is cool so there weren't any dull moments. And at the
end of the class all the kids wanted to take a selfie and follow us on
Instagram. Ha-ha It was fun. Hopefully I get some more followers hahaha

We are also pretty excited for this upcoming week because we (us
missionaries) are putting together an activity for this Friday. We are
going to be making pancakes for people and then watching "Meet The
Mormons." People are pretty stoked because Italians don't really know
how to make pancakes so when we make them they are down to eat so it
should be way fun.

In the end. Things are going great here. I love my comp and we are
probably going to be life long bros. I love this city. The people here
are awesome and we have so many friends who help us while we are here.
We are seeing miracles everyday and we feel blessed. I hope all of you
had a great week too. Let me know how you're all doing. Anyways have a
good day :) Ciao Ciao

Zone Conference

Zone Conference and General Conference

So this week was definitely a little more exciting than last week. I
cut my finger opening a mozzarella ball with a knife so that's
exciting. Also we had a lil zone conference this week. It was pretty
good. We had to leave the day before because Catanzaro is literally in
the middle of nowhere. But it gave us time to help out the
missionaries up there and in the process we had our fair share of
laughs. We also went to this cool city and I totally can't remember
the name of it right now but it was super beautiful and so we checked
that out. Went in a couple old churches. And soaked up a little more
of Italy's beauty. I really liked that. Overall though conference was
definitely well needed for me and my comp and we felt really good after
it so that was nice.

When we got home for conference we had a night out with our English
course. Because they think me and my computer are so cool a bunch of
our students took us out to eat at a pizzeria. It was a good time
haha.

Also we went to school this week. So this professor at a high school
called us like 2 weeks back and was like "yo I teaching religion and I
want y'all to come explain your church" so we were like "yes please"
so Saturday (cuz Italy has school on Saturday) we went down to this
high school and basically did a Q&A with a bunch of high school kids
about our church. It actually went a lot better than you would think.
The kids asked really good questions and we had a good time. We are
going to be going back a couple more times in the upcoming weeks so we
are excited about that.

Finally, we had General Conference this weekend (it's a semi-annual
worldwide conference our church leaders do for everyone. It's cool).
We went to a member’s house, ate a nice lunch on Sunday and watched
conference on their couch. That was real nice. It gave me a little
deja vu from back home but it was a good time.

All in all it was a good week. I'm doing great out here and loving
life. We're working hard but when you're having this much fun it feels
like you're hardly working. And that's what we like. Love you all and
have a good week :)

Love,
