Happy to be Staying in Catanzaro for another Transfer and a Trip to Tropea

Hey everyone,

Honestly this week went by so fast that I can't believe it's already

PDAY again. Weird how that happens. Well first things first, transfer

calls came this week. Good news is, is that I'll be staying here in

Catanzaro with my Bro. Anziano Eldridge. That's some of the best news

all week. I'm honestly really excited to be here in Catanzaro for

another 6 weeks. A lot of good stuff has been happening, we've made a

lot of good friends and I'm happy to be able to continue my time here.

I love it.

Also this week we did an exchange with our favorite Zone Leaders

Anziani Jeff Borner and Packer Blazzard. They're good. Anz. Borner was

my companion in Bagheria..... A long time ago. It was still a good

time tho. We got a lot of stuff done. Taught some people about Jesus

and then at the end of the day we ate Pizza. We love pizza.

Today for PDAY tho we went to this city called Tropea. It is one of

the most beautiful if not the most beautiful place in Calabria. The

beach there was ranked 3rd in Italy. So it was a good trip. We did

some exploring, took a lot of pictures and all that good stuff. The

great part about the trip was that our friends Rafaele and Francesco

took us all the way out there. So we spent the day with them and

explored Calabria. It was a good time.

In the end, I'm doing great. Me and my companion are busy every day

trying to spread some love and the word or God. We've been making good

friends and even better memories (that was cliché). Anyways, hope you

PDAY in Tropea

A Baptism in the Ocean

Dear Fam,

 I felt like this week we were super busy doing a lotta good stuff so

even though at the end of the week me and Eldridge were tired we both

felt real good about everything that we had done.

This week we went and helped a member and her 2 kids move into a new

house. It took a long time and a lot of hard work on their part. Lots

of prayers and fasting but we got them a new house finally so we

helped them move in. Basically everyone cleaned the house while me and

my comp brought all the stuff up 2 floors to get it to them ha-ha. It

was a good time.

What else. We also had a Karaoke Night this week in church. I mean it was

real good. We had a ton of people from English course and just a ton

of people not from our branch come. Me and Eldridge sang a little bit.

People still liked us afterwards so we didn't suck THAT bad. Ha-ha. But

it was a good time. Idk why but Italians love Karaoke. I honestly

can't tell you why but if they wanna do an activity in church the

go-to idea is Karaoke. It's fun tho, I laughed a lot.

Also Saturday morning we had a service activity in church. We made

little rescue kits for people who are in 3rd world countries and

stuff. Basically we made a big assembly line and sorted out towels,

toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other sanitary items in these bags. The

branch did a little over 800 in total so it was fun. It definitely

reminded me of the days when I worked in the factory.

Last but not least we went to a baptism in Crotone this week. Usually

we don't go but they asked me to be a testimony (guy who makes sure

the person getting baptized goes all the way under the water) for the

baptism. The cool part of the baptism was that we did it in the ocean.

The less good part was that it's still March so it's cold and the sand

tuned into big fat rocks once you walked into the water. But even

though it wasn't the most pleasant experience it was still amazing. I

felt super lucky to have the opportunity to just go to the baptism.

All in all it was a great day and a great week.

So we thought transfer calls were last week but President had to

change some stuff so now they are this week I think. Anyways me and

Eldridge are definitely hoping to stay here in Cat City cuz we got a

lot more work to do! Anyways love you all and have a good week!!
