Rappin' with Investigators

So this week in Italy was pretty cool. We made lasagna Friday and
that was really good. I’m eating a lot of cherries and watermelon cuz
they are also really good. Also we met this dude last week named
Giorgio. He lived in London for 2 years so he speaks English really
good and he came to our English course and he is so cool. He just got
back to Sicily after traveling around Europe Street performing. He has
dreads and listens to reggae music and is like the most trill person
ever and we are now friends ha-ha. We went to his house though this
past week and he lives with his fam in a villa outside of the city so
we went out there and had a real good lunch! His brothers and sisters
and stuff were there and it was so fun. After his brother in law and I
were talking and he found out I could beat-box and that I listened to
Eminem so I beat boxed and rapped Eminem while he played the spoon
drums on the table. We were killing it and then he and his other
brother took me to this shed. And inside this shed was a drum set and
two guitars so one bro gets on the drums and goes off while the
brother in law grabs the electric guitar and goes all Led Zeppelin on it
so I obviously grabbed the mic and dropped a sick beat. It was so fun!
And then we started playing classic American songs from AC/DC and Led
Zeppelin, Bob Marley stuff like that. It was so much fun! And today for
pday we hiked up Mount Pellegrino and at the top of this mountain is a
catholic church that is built into a cave. It’s literally a cave church
and when we got there, there was a wedding going on so we watched that
and it was a cool cultural experience. Not many people can say they
saw a catholic wedding, in Italy, and in a cave, on top of a mountain
so that was pretty neat.

But that’s pretty much the week and I’m super happy to be here. Tomorrow
we had another conference for iPads and are getting them tomorrow too.
So that will be fun. Hopefully it will be a good addition to the
missionary work! But, yeah, I hope you all have a really good week and
love you all tons!

Ciao ciao

It's HOT Down Here and Random Thoughts

That was a long email.... ha-ha loved it though. I hope that all the
open houses are going good! Try not to give away too much money too
all my friends. I need some of it ha-ha.  It’s nice to hear that
everyone is doing good though and let me know how Trist’s open house
goes this week! I’m there in spirit! And did yall get Ian a new car
yet? This is important information and if the answer to the question I
just asked is no, then my follow up question is, why not? He is weird
but the kid needs a car. (I got your back Ian) but like don’t get him a
good one cuz he got mine in an accident so I’d watch out ha-ha, love him.
Anyways, I just ate like a pound of strawberries cuz it’s like 70 cents
and now I feel a lil sick but it tasted so good. Sorry, random thought
but congrats on the race. It’s cool your team didn’t come in last place.
I bet that other team feels super slow hahahaha good. But, yeah so we
are getting iPads in like 2 weeks. idk how much it will change the
work. I honestly don’t think that it will at all. It will just be
another tool to use in the work. And, yeah, work in Bagheria is good.
It’s pretty relaxed, not to frantic but also we don’t have to do a lot of
finding either so that’s nice. This week was good and it’s starting to
get real hot out here so I’m like always sweating but it’s cool cuz
people ask me if I’m getting skinnier. I’m not, but it makes me feel
good. Also, this was the end of week 1 of the transfer so 5 to go!!
Woo. But, yeah, this week was a good week here in Bagheria. I went to the
dentist, only had 1 cavity. Heck yeah. Also he cleaned it and filled
it without using anesthesia. He’s good. Today we saw this church and
that was neat but we are so tired so we bought a watermelon, put it in
the fridge so it cools while we email and then we are going to eat the
whole thing later. It’s like 20 pounds and there will be 5 of us. Let’s
go! I’m pumped! Also, we went to our favorite members (one of our
favorites) house on Saturday night, the Saccones. It was the moms
birthday and while we were there we watched some of the Juve vs
Barcelona game. Only saw the first half but the next day found out
that everyone favorite Italian team lost and everyone was soooo mad.
It was funny. I laughed. uhhh idk I feel like that’s it for this week!
I’m like tired all the time cuz the sun is hot. Other than that I’m good
though! Love you all so much!

ciao ciao,

So Pumped for all my Buddies Going on Missions and Tristen's Graduation!!!

Yo, mom. I’m glad you liked that text yesterday! So, there was a
missionary who served here in Bagheria. He didn’t get released yet but
finished the mission and is now doing a tour of Italy with his fam. He
served in Bagheria so came and visited Palermo for like 2 days. We
were at lunch with them at a member’s house and then the mom took a pic
of me and sent it to you. So, you could see me spill on myself like
Tyler. Ugh ha-ha!

I’m so pumped about everyone going on their missions though, that’s so
sick. I totally called Tyler going to NYC south. So, that needs to go
in the record books. According to me, that’s the best state side mission
so he is going to do real well. Also, super pumped that Trist wore my
tie that I sent him for gradumacation (spelled that wrong on purpose.)
It looked real good.  Also seeing the FB post from Sue made me smile!
I got his letter yesterday that he sent like back in march and it was
really cool! I loved it! I could see all the good stuff that’s
happening to them and their family in that letter and it made me feel
good.  I mean they are like my second family so they probably get
blessings just like you guys.

I’m only a lil upset you used my bike without asking. I mean I’m happy
that you didn’t break it but next time just ask. Ha-ha jk lol. I’m glad
you and the girls had good weather for the (5th grade) bike hike though. I still
remember doing that and it was so awesome. Also tell Elisabeth that
I’m sure she did a killer job in the parade. She looks like she did
well. Also I already know you talk about walking in that parade (as a veteran)

every year mom but,  like you never will. Idk how you get into it but you like
watching better I think.

So yeah, the work here in Bagheria is going good. We are teaching a
couple families that have some good potential so it’s really exciting.
Idk I don’t have a lot of exact details for you all so I’m sorry. It
changes all the time so it’s almost pointless to update you cuz
tomorrow it will change. But just know that things are going good and
I’m excited for this next transfer ahead. President said that we will
see the fruits of our labors if we keep working hard so I’m definitely
going to be diligent this transfer.

Anyways, I hope you all have a good week this week and have a lot of
fun! Stay safe and don’t get in too much trouble! I love you all so
much! Ciao ciao

Sicily Stake Conference and Working Hard in Bagheria

Okay, so first thing is, the picture of all your shoes in a circle. (marathon pic)
Super basic. I know you’re more creative than that! Ha-ha love you :)
Okay, so moving on! Congrats on your marathon! I was thinking about
you Friday and I was like, hope she did good and you did! So, that’s
cool. I’m glad Ian didn’t die at (5th grade) camp and that the girls had a lot of
fun! I miss that place and when I get home it would be pretty sick to
go there! Tell Elisabeth I say good luck for Memorial Day! I’m sure she
will do so awesome! I remember watching her march last year! That was
fun! And tell the twins that I’m so proud of them for still doing
swimming! Wish them the best of luck this summer! I’m sure they will
kill it. So pumped for Jaxon and his mission! He is going to get so
fat hahaha! He will love it though. Glad you liked the pictures from
last week! I have a ton more and videos too but I’ll send those all
home later on a pin drive or something. So, this week here in Italy was
pretty good! We got our transfer calls and I’m staying for one more
transfer here in BagSwag. I’m really excited though because the work is
booming and I wanna be here for it! Prez said that if we keep working
hard we will see the blessings this transfer so I’m excited! Today is
zone soccer for the last pday of the transfer and I’m super pumped to
do it! I get to wear my new jersey and everything so it’s so awesome. I
love it. It’s still hot here though so imma get some gelato later. We
got a bunch of gelato though for our house so we have freezy pops and
gelato at our house, that’s what we eat at night..... it’s nice. I think
that’s it for this week! OH we had Sicily Stake Conference this past
Sunday so that was cool! I got to see all the missionaries from Sicily
and we had a mini party afterwards at the Palermo apartment. It was
fun. Other than that though, that’s pretty much it! Hope you have a
great week back on the other side of the pond! Love you all tons! Ciao
ciao
